Do you eat them without sugar? Well I had a pink gratefruit in the frig, in had been in there for 2 months, it was oing bad but I didn't throw it again, I just cut off the bad part, the very end of it, anyway that gratefruit was already sweet it didn't need any sugar on it at all, Do you eat you gratefruit without sugar, I know the pink ones are just about sweet anyway. it was good too! And they are good for you.

I like grapefruit with sugar I only eat the pink grapefruits. It was cute about a week ago I work in a day care and was trying to introduce the preschool to a new fruit and it was grapefruit. Some of them really liked it. It was a great experience for them especially for the ones that have never tried grapefruit. Yes grapefruit is a very good fruit for you.

I always eat pink grapefruit, and usually from California but I like the Israeli ones too. I use granulated sweetenr on mine... I can't quite manage to eat them without, although the pink ones are a little sweeter. I tried a green on once and that was quite refreshing. I haven't seen them since! Brightest Blessings, my friend.

The Israeli ones are red... maybe not as thick-skinned as the Californian, but slightly sweet and similar, fleshwise. I can't remember where the green ones were from. I only found them the once, and it was either in Waitrose or Sainsbury's which are two of our main supermarkets here, in the U.K.

I haven't had a grapefruit in a long time. I like the pink ones too, when I do have them. My sister one sent me some oranges and grapefruit from Florida, the grapefruit was a pink one, it was really sweet and good, it didn't need any sugar neither.

I only eat the pink grapefruits, the yellow ones I don't really care for. I add sugar on top because it lowers the acidity in them; without the sugar it always upsets my stomach. Plus, to me, it just tastes better with the sugar added. I hardly ever buy any citrus fruits anymore, they're just too acidic for my system lol.

because I am on high blood pressure medication, I cannot eat grapefruit anymore, because it interferes with the medication. I used to eat grapefruit with sugar then later on I was able to eat it plain.

Hi, marciascott! Yes, I do love grapefruits. I mostly eat them with or without sugar. I have never tried it with sugar, they say that it tastes good without it.

I like to eat grapefruit as well as the juice. I like both white and the pink ones. But I don't like sugar on any of them since I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I like to put salt on the grapefruit and in the juice. I always try to fine the grapefruit that doesn't have sugar added.

I love grapefruit. Unfortunately my husband cannot have any since it interfers with his medicine. I maybe get some just for myself so he can drink the orange juice and I will eat the grapefruit. I like it plain without any sugar. I will have to see if there are some on sale.

I cannot hardly eat a grapefruit at all. I have tried it with sugar before but it is still way too sour for me.

Hi again marciascott, it's interesting that I saw this conversation here. I was just thinking this morning that I need to go to the store and get another bag of grapefruit. I love the kind that are like dark pink. I used to cut them in half and put sugar on them and eat them with one of those spoons when I was young because that's how my grandma taught me how to do it. Now that I'm older I love just peeling them like and orange and eating them that way with no sugar on the segments. Lately I've been on a kick with them and have been eating at least four or five a week, and you know what? This is the first year I haven't come down with a really bad cold. I suppose all the vitamin c helped but when I did get a little cold it only lasted for like a day or two and it was so minor I didn't even have to use a cold medicine for it.

I do like grapefruit. I don't put any sugar on them, I eat them just as they are. I tend to eat them right after I eat a meal. It is said that the acid in them can help a person lose weight when eaten after a meal.
