Looking back on your childhood, did you love it or hate it?

I know of some people who "grew up too fast". You know that feeling? When you have never really enjoyed being a kid and you had to become an adult because of circumstances? It is really a pitiful moment when you see an adult friend crying because he/she failed to have a great childhood. I for one had a fantastic life as a kid. And back then, video games weren't the coolest thing yet! Ha ha. So, what can you share about your childhood? Is it great or is it awful?

Most of the memory is so happy,I feel so gratefull every time when i recall the past, the first commit, the first reward, and the happy time with family. But I never back again.

I hated my childhood. It feels to me as if I didn't have fun and my Mom expected me to be very knowledgable at a young age. As if she believed that you are born with knowledge. I have hatred towards the people that made my childhood crap and from that view I promise to myself that if I have kids I would not treat them like that or the way I grew up.

I miss being a kid. I had an amazing childhood as long as my mom and I were living with my grandparents. After I turned 11 and my brother was born though things changed and I was forced to grow up WAY too soon. I would have loved to have been able to have my baby brother and still have my childhood. I was forced to babysit my little brother almost 7 days a week whenever I wasn't in school until I was 18.

I guess that I had an awful childhood memory. I wasn't the brightest kid in school, and I am too introvert type of person. I wasn't the one who always dare to take on an adventure, or do something unpredictable. I should do much more when I was a child.

My childhood was kind of depressing for the most part. I had friends and had fun but most of the time I was picked on for not being extra poor like the kids I went to school with and being slightly overweight. The girls that were popular picked on me and my friends because we weren't as popular as them and the guys ignored me because I didn't dress like I thought I was grown. I ended up becoming my mother's best friend and helped her through the more stressful parts of life. We were moving around all the time and my stepfather wasn't right for my mother so I ended up sharing her stress and pain...

I grew up in a remote village. I really felt thought all my childhood time there. I lived with my dad, my mun and my elder brother. We were quite poor at that time.Life was quite hard for us, but we were happy?

I had a wonderful childhood! When I was a kid, we went outside all day long. We never went in unless we had to pee or were hungry. We made roads all over in the dirt and had towns and huts and forts. We rode bikes, horses, rafts down the river and it was all great! At night if the streetlights came on, it was time to go in or if you heard your dad's whistle. In my neighborhood, our dads had their own whistles so we knew who was being summoned!! We were lucky because on Saturday mornings we got to watch cartoons and then had to do our chores. In the winter, we had snowmobiles and the whole neighborhood would be on the hill behind our house all day every day we could. I had a wonderful childhood.

I really love my childhood days. Not so perfect but then full of happy moments. I just love it! And if ever I have the chance to back to those days, I will go back because I really enjoyed my childhood.

i miss my actual childhood. once i got to my teen years(about 14), things started changing, and i wouldn't mind skipping over that lol. but if i could go back to being 8 or so again and just stay there, that would be fine with me. i'll always be a child at heart though!
