Well I realize this discussion was started quite some time ago but I wanted to put a little bit of my thoughts into it. My girls are 7 and 8 now they do not pee during the day but they do at night and they have no medical problems. see when kids are growing sometimes there bladders need to catch up. Also here is another thing to think about is your daughter getting preocciped like having fun or whatever and not thinking about going to the bathroom. That could be an issue as well. I have no idea if you found anything out about this but I hope for the best for you. Take care and happy mylotting to you as well.

You doctor will have to determine if there is a medical reason or not, it does sound unusual

Bedwetting can be a hassle for parents but even more so for the child especially if they can't control it. Their are more bedwetters then people want others to know. When my sister has a Urinary problem she will pee on herself a bit. Also doctor told her to cut back on tomato based things like ketchup, spaghetti sauces, taco sauce, chili and anyhting amde with tomatoes since it can irritate it and cause it to be worse. We actually tried those cranberry pills they have at the Dollar General for $3 and they worked great since she really didn't like cranberry juice itself..asl doctor what he thinks about her drinking cranberry juice, cutting back on tomato based foods or citrus foods, like pop made with lemon and limes or orange juices, lemonades,or anything that can be considered acidic..

Oh, that is a problem. My daughter is 3-years old but she had stopped wearing diapers when she was two and a half. There were accidents then but I have trained her well to speak out everytime she wants to pee. Now, I have no problem bringing her with me since she would say when she wants to go and when she's at home she would just pee on her own. I think, medical advice is really needed. Can't your daughter hold her bladder or she's just used to peeing in her pants? Here's what I did when I started training my daughter. I would take note of the last time she peed and then I would urge her to pee again in two hours or so. This really needs close observation and a lot of patience. When she would drink a lot of fluids then I would constantly check if she wanted to pee. Even if she said she didn't want to I would still force her to go to the bathroom. That way, she'll learn when to pee and to remove her pants when it's time to go.' I hope you will be able to find solution to this real soon because she's old enough to do this on her own and it's a pity she should miss school and family outings because of this. Good luck!
