Is your company raising it's prices, too? Despite the economy? The place where I work has recently upped their prices for EVERYTHING, anywhere from .10 to $1 per item. I work as a clerk in the drycleaning business from time to time, and I've noticed that to clean ANY items - the prices have gone up a drastic amount. I don't know what the owner is thinking, I have a feeling that this new price raise is going to be the deciding factor in our customers going to other cleaners. What do you think is motivating business owners to RAISE already high prices, especially with the state of the current economy? What do you think is going through their minds? Are you experiencing the same thing? What is the rationale for it, do you think? Is it really necessary?
