i'm a hard core rock and roller from way back. i discovered hard rock back around 1974 and have loved it ever since. i like my music LOUD and hard........but it has to be a good arrangement too......a great melody and some from the heart lyrics. almost all of the rock "super bands" from the 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond were into drugs, alcohol, or both. Aerosmith, Guns and Roses. Motley Crue, Nirvana along with 100s of others wrote their BEST songs while doing heroin and other HARD and highly addictive drugs. Def Leppard, AC DC, Led Zeppelin and countless other musicians wrote their timeless hits while dealing with alcohol addiction. Pink Floyd, The Beatles, and dozens of others came out with HITS that rocked the world while doing psychedelic drugs. i'm not advocating drug use........but it is what it is..........most of the timeless rock and roll hits that are still reverberating to this day were written by people that were STONED OUT OF THEIR MINDS!!! DRUGS ARE BAD!!! DRUGS DESTROY LIVES!!! DRUGS ARE NO LONGER COOL!!! all that said..........do you think there's some kind of substitute we could use to make today's music not SUCK SO MUCH?!?!?

It's a combination of red food colouring and sugar ... notorious for making children hyperactive ... so yes ... I'm pretty sure you'd LOVE it ... lol! My five year old daughter head bangs to AC/DC and sings along to Deep Purple, so it seems to be working ...

I WISH!!!!!!! I was born in 75 and I love ALL those groups. I can't even listen to the radio anymore. I have to buy CD's or (attempt to no avail) download stuff.

Me either that's where the "attempt to no avail" comes in. If I do do it, it's always by accident or camodad has to do it for me.

Rock On and On,,, I like a good Ballad also... That's the night the light's went out in Georgia, see little sis she never miss's... I have to write about the man behind the screen... You're gonna scream... Shout! Out, shot like a missile from the mountain high... The Earth is alive, in a living universe... Watching as the Galaxy turns... I always like that old Ford... Keeping the pedal to the metal and the strings pulled tight, I'm gonna make a good tune one of these nights I'm gonna lay it down and drive it home... Everything's gonna be alright on that night...

Actually I just laid down a chorus and it would go well with how Irish ended the quest for a test on que, or cue the guinea pig really won't dig... but the time has come and soon the tune will be sung... Like Led Zepplin crossed with AC/DC and Aerosmith combined... I should have been thinking Kiss and Beth along with Meatloaf and Heart in my previous post... The thing about Rock n Roll, it is all good even at first when you don't get it soon enough you will... It never fails... Train, Uncle Kracker, and DHT, along with Evanescence could be my proof that even today Rock n Roll lives on and on...

what do you mean by hard rock from beatles. i have not know any hard rock songs from beatles. there are so some or few rock that i like a bit. but mostly i don't understand why they are just noisy. i just don't get it why they have to smoke or pot just for them to create those good songs that they had produced before. and why is it that hard rock always been associated with those pots.

Just take Resveratrol and you don't have to drink. If you need hallucinogenic effect use nutmeg.... Nutmeg is not only hallucinogenic spice that you can buy on open market. In UK you can buy mixture call Spice, new cultural fashion herbal mix that is smoke by young generation. I guess they are working on new Rock and Roll hit.... There is no excuse to write great hit.....

I think music is every form Is soothing to someone or the other. We need to find out what is our type of music. Today’s music must be sick for us but might happen that many of the people are liking it a lot. Fir me, today’s music is simply unbearable to one’s ears.
