Hi friends just yesterday i met a friend of mine who was a bit disturbed over a fact that some of her hostel mates made fun of her because over a game she accepted that she was a virgin . she is 21 years old . But guys, tell me is it fair to make fun of someone who is a virgin? may be she didn't get any one interesting till date! but its insane to make fun of her .what would u say?

It is not a sin or embarrassing being a VIRGIN! It shows purity of mind, strength of mind! Also in modern era, even if one person loses her virginity due to a relationship which fails later, she has to feel sorry, not the person who is VIRGIN. Whatever your friend faced is a bad experience, but tell her to be honest with herself and strong with her will to answer such people who make fun of her. She is perfectly right in that sense and she has power to oppose these kind of people. World is a mixture of bad and good people and as modern era is taking our lives to tip of mechanical life, we are tending to get changed! So these kind of people increase in number and tend to convert others who are good too to their group! We need to fight against them in all the way! Good luck

Remaining a virgin or not is a personal choice and its simply wrong to make fun of a person for their choice. I mean there are many more things to life than just sleeping with someone. Your friend is only 21 years old..she should not fret about this. She should concentrate on the direction her life is taking. As far as the virgin part goes, when she should do it when the time and person are both right.

You should be proud of it, cos at the moment Virgins over here in my country's traditions and in African tradition in general, they(virgins) are admired like Queens and Kings. I and my girl friend are Virgins and we look forward to be like that until we say I Do if God wishes. So be proud of it Note: in some cultures in my country located in the Western part of Africa, Kings can only get married to only girls that are virgins

Date????? I am sorry to say, she is a big BORE. I am not insulting her.First, its our own opinion whether we would like to be virgin or not. Its the situation and the person you are that would lead to all....What the **** looking for date? I hate people commenting " Tell me how can i say, i want to be your friend"....Dumb people, you speak to that person, There are some words like i love you that you need to tell from time to time....But if you are talking to a person and she/he is interested, what the crap you would offer a friendship? Just tell your friend to have a chill pill, Maintain her dignity...I am sorry, someone is making a fun out of her and rather than giving a tight slap she is looking for B frd...lolz... I am sorry, but sit besides her and explain her.....The way you allow others to treat yourself would define the motto of her life.... anyway...Thanx tubelight.

well you mention it happened with your friend and you answer like it lifted your spirit is that happened with you its fine girl you must be proud of your self that your are something which most of the girls in your hostel are not,I mean seriously I live in metro city and most of the girls are open minded but still I am virgin because I feel its like a gift to your life partner whom he will cherish till he die seriously nothing like giving your virginity to your partner.Plus you will not feel that guilt I mean its matter of choice and instance some time its like a good time and good person whom you dont mind loosing your virgnity but I feel most of the guys are bad *** (being a guy I know what guys are like),so nothing you should be ashamed of .Instead be proud of your self. take care

I dont think there is something embarassing by being a virgin. Im 19, and i decided to maintain it and give it to my husband in the near future. Its just about preferences and how you want to live your life. And im very proud of it. I also believe that culture and norms affect people's view with it. Like for me, i am living in a country that majority of the people are conservative.
