I still remember when I started here a couple of years ago, this was also my main concern. You will find that a lot of people here aren't here for the money, they are on the site because you get to meet some really great and interesting people from around the world. You get to learn about different cultures and get help with every day problems. You can also vent a little. There are always people here that can help you out, give advice, or just let you know what is happening else where. It is better then social networking sites.
