Taking turns taking care of the baby

My husband and I take turns in taking care of the baby. If I am tired and sleepy, he lets me sleep. He just asks if I would rather breastfeed or if he would mix milk for the baby. Sometimes, I get too tired, or just lazy perhaps, but my husband would immediately get to his feet in order to attend to the baby or to get her to stop fussing. I just find this very adorable, because I am aware that not a lot of men enjoy the hard work associated at taking care of the baby. But my husband has been hands-on all along, or at least, baby was a few days old already as he was scared to hold her during the early days. But he is learning fast and he gets better at handling the baby each day. I am so blessed to have a husband like him and I wish that all mothers will have husbands who will also help in taking care of the baby because baby business is really hard work! I just realized it. Hehe but the joy is incomparable. Take care all and God bless you! Happy mylotting!

My husband was very hands on too. He held them immediately, rocking and he was just such a great daddy! My children are grown and they still have such an awesome relationship with their daddy. It's refreshing to see in this day and age. Please continue to encourage him to be a part of your daughter's life. In 20 years, I promise you will be so glad you did!

You are very lucky to have a husband like that.. My husband is the same way.. He is definitely a hands on Dad. Diapers, middle of the night feedings or bad dreams, My youngest has asthma and he needs nebulizer treatments 2 times a day and he does 1 treatment a day for me.. I always say that there are 2 parents why should all the work be put on the mother.. You have a great Hubby
