Computer virus arrived today!

I feel pretty confident that my computer is safe, as my husband went on to cnn.com and found information on there on how to check your computers, and we did both his and mine, so today it seems to be fine...I hope it stays that way too. Its pretty scary for those of us who work at home, and online to hear things like this as a threat to us... I hope no body gets effected!! happy mylotting!!

Hehehe, well i think that conflicker just want its welcoming committee, because its a new threat, but nothing actually changed... I didn't noticed any suspicious on my computer today... Well, they say you can't detect that its there, but for me, my computer is secured because of some of my tweaking, and some modification of my system, and by the help of my anti threat softwares.... I got no worries at all...

Well actually I had this virus try to hit my Computer the other day, and since I have excellent Virus protection, and security, etc. it was able to catch and Stop it. I really hope that more people were as prepared as I was, and that not many people were effected from this as well. I heard on the News that is did not turn out to be near the problem they were thinking it would be, but maybe that is because so many people were prepared.

Yes my computer was attacked by some malware which looked like an anti-virus! I got it removed with the halp of malware bytes anti malware. I think you are probably referring to Conficker virus. Well so far i havent been infected with this virus since it's spread from the internet two years ago. I guess being extra careful on which websites you visit is also a good thing to keep away from such. Having an Antivirus installed with updated virus definitions is also good.

I wanna know how many people fell for the scam, and went out and bought the new norton anti virus software. Seriously. Do you think they would have announced it for everyone? no. Someone puts out a virus they're not going to warn everyone. No one is going to know about it. A company that sales anti virus software started the scare to panic everyone into buying their software, and i'm guessing it was norton, since their name was linked to the warning all over.

I have not had a problem so far, I use Mcafee as my virus protection, and it updates every day, so i guess that was enough to do the trick to keep my computer safe.
