I used to worry about every little thing a few years ago. But now i have realised that life becomes more difficult and dull when we worry all the time. I now take things as they come, many times even when i know there is problem ahead i prefer to carry on with my routine and face the problem when it is actually there. I have also realised that by doing this you become immune to most of your worries and start thinking in a more practical manner as to how to tackle the problem instead of simply worrying, you become moew positive in your outlook....What do you all think about this? is it really worth wasting all that time on trivials? or is it sometimes necessary to worry over things?

I am also like you and in fact most of us are like it only. We start worrying immediately when a problem comes up. You see when we start worrying our thinking process sets into order and our mind start telling us what could be likely remedial measures for the problem. Therefore, it is very necessary that our mind should not become numb and dull, thought process must be on in our mind. It is also said that -"Action cures fears". We keep worrying till we take some action on the problem, the moment we act on the problem it vanishes like anything. You see life cannot be problem free or tension free, it is like a growing up plant/tree on which everyday a new leaf comes up, new leaf is like a new problem and as soon as we solve the problem of the day, the next day next one comes out like a new leaf. About some of the problems we keep worrying unnecessarily because those problems do not take shape in reality in our life. Also, some of the problems could be tackled as and when they actually surface before us.

Hi, deepak agreed with all that you say - but there are some who not only worry but they make others life hell too with their worries, they expect the whole world to worry along with them. I find that a very negative approach where you do not achieve anything at all expect spread unhappiness all round..

Let us try change their thinking from negative to positive and let us tell them that 'positive' thinking always helps overcome our fears.

Exactly my views Deepak, and there are many such people in the world, who make things very gloomy for those around them. If they were to remain positive i am sure they will find a solution too..

Hello there Kiran:) I just go with what God said in His word that says, "Life is much more important than food, and the body much more important than clothes. Look at the crows: they don't plant seeds or gather a harvest, they don't have storage rooms or barns, God feeds them! You are worth so much more than birds!"-Matthew 12: 23-24 Happy mylotting!:)

Worrying is not the solution for problems. Thinking with clear mind is essential to solve any complex problem.

Hi samson, i agree with you wholeheartedly. we need to get to the root of the problem and try to solve it instead of worrying over it
