10 years is a long time. i think within 3 to 4 years it will be in museum

hi,i don't think that much time to vanish T.V.,all facilities are coming with PC'S ONLY..

It may happen.. because in future we can able to see all channels thru the net itself and it will happen soon. earlier the same think happened to the typewriting machine... so it will happen soon to television too.

So you mean to tell me people would rather watch a show on tv with a broadband or cable connection? When they watch it on a 50+ inch plasma hdtv? There not even close to the same quality anybody who would do that doesn't need a tv ...lol.

no the box we called tv will change its format, size,shape but the viwing from far will not stop. thts why tele-vision will never stop.

Bill gates needs to stick to computers because this comment is just dumb. HDTV are just becoming affordable and are selling out like crazy now. So why would people abandon them in just 10 years. Bill gates is a genius when it comes to software but outside out that he looks dumb. That is why the xbox sold less then the nintendo gamecube. Also this is why he can't compete with apple outside of software.
