I'm a bit OCD about my kid's stuff. I keep birth certificates, social security cards, doctor's visits notes (our doctor gives us a hand out each visit of what shots they had, their milestones, etc), shot records, etc. Anything that has to do with their development, I keep. I'll need some of those things when they start school so best to make sure I've the binders set up now instead of having to weed through files to find it. Though I admit, even I get behind every now and then as I juggle school and parenting. I have one large box I keep for all of their keepsakes, things like bracelets from the hospital, cards, etc. I also have two photo albums, one for each child of their first year. I'm almost done with our son's but unfortunately we had a small pc accident on the old one and I now have to get a data retrieval and I'm hoping the remainder of the pictures are able to be retrieved so I can finish his book. Our daughter is just 6 months so she's got a ways to go. I also scrap book. I have one large one for my son, but haven't started my daughters yet as I haven't found a book I like. They also have a Renn Fest scrap book, though I forgot to pick up a second for my daughter at her first one (she was only 4 weeks when we went) but we plan to get one this year and juts update it with last year's pictures of our little Viking Princess. My son carries his one blanky around with him still, and my daughter is still sleeping with hers. His larger blanket is pinned to his wall above his big boy bed. (Though he rarely sleeps there lol). We have a whole family wall devoted to our pictures, and our family thing is to go and do those "dress up photos" where you can pick a period. We do them once a year to chronicle our life together. It's a bit more interesting then the norm. Our first one was with our son in Medival times, then again in a Western when I was pregnant with our daughter, and just recently this year with a 20's theme. So nope, you're not alone lol.
