Hi all! Well I just gave birth to our firstborn. I know that for normal delivery, couples should not have contact for a month after childbirth. But for caesarian operation, it is six weeks. It has been almost a month now, but well, my husband and I have to wait. I am still have discharges from time to time, a sign that I am not yet well. And the uterus naturally heals only after six weeks. Also it can go over six weeks, depending on the wife's situation or health condition and her recovery, of course. Thankfully, my husband is patient and has no hard feelings over it. He is also a very devoted and loving father to our precious little princess. And well, with the baby’s needs and the sleepless nights, there is not much mood for it anyway. Hehe I guess after another 3 weeks or so, we can be ready to get on it again. How about you? How were your urges after your childbirth and how did you husband take it? For husbands, how did you handle this time of celibacy? Take care all and God bless you! Happy mylotting!

My wife had a caesarian for our last child. For us there was no contact for slighty over 3 months. In cases like this it was thought that it would be better to be safe than sorry. Other complications could arise if patience was not adhered to. Not only that even though not a diabetic her blood sugar level was fairly high. The time needed for a full recuperation differ for each individual and being cautious is a prudent action. Do you take anyhing to help with the healing process? all the best, rosdimy

I am still single, so I can't say the feeling of turn to be a father. It's a hot topic, I think. If it happened to me, I think I can wait my wife recovered.
