uploading a picture for my profile

Can anyone provide me some information on how to post my picture to my profile? I can't seem to get my picture added to my discussions or comments. I can upload a picture to my account, but I want my picture to be featured on my comments and discussions and blogs. Please let me know how to do this on mylot.
