I'm not sure I know what that is. Here in America, we call UPS, United Postal Service.

I don't have UPS but I have battery operated fans that are rechargable just in case a summer storm knocks out the power. We don't have a lot of power outages here, thank goodness.

No, I don't use my UPS for other than computer works. I don't even wait for 15 minutes when light goes off. All, I do is save my files and get rid of any open windows and then shut it down ASAP. I don't like promting beep from UPS once every 8 seconds. Hate that.

Hello my friend chimrani Ji, Presently I am using Lap-top, which has built-in UPS. But at my house, I have my Desk top which was provided with its own seperate UPS and our house has further an additional back-up sustem "Invertor". I am mentioning both, as UPS is always seperated with other normal things like TV/Fan/lights etc. AS UPS should be as close to Computer system as it can be. I do not suggest same power for both. Check with your Installation ENgrr. May God bless you and have a great time.

I dont use an UPS however i have heard of them and know a few friends that have them. In my area we dont have power problems or outages so the money would be wasted for me. However it is a must have if your power is constantly going out.
