sitting at my computer (which was fixed yesterday)and right now it is so peaceful. Why you ask? Because my boys are all outside. It's just me and the computer. I gave the 13 an 14 year olds $10 each to go get themselves a haircut and my 18 year old just left. Am I complaining? No......Do I miss them? Not at this moment,lol......Am I enjoying the peace and serenity?..........Ooh yes!!

Hey Linda! Peace is so wonderful! I think that is so great
that you have a few minutes for yourself to just relax without
any kids around! You should have called me! I am not doing
much of anything even though the day is just beautiful! I
haven't done a thing or even been out all day! I just wasted
the day away! I couldn't sleep last night so I was up until
4:30am! So I kind of slept until 3:30pm! And now here I am
again!

I love the peace and quiet too. We love our kids, but even as teenagers they can be a handful, well...most kids can be, and they enjoy time away from us too. Either they want something to eat, or want something else from you. Peace and solitude is something to be treasured. I love equal time alone as well as spending time with my family and friends. When we get that alone time, we are better able to focus on our kids. We have to remember to take care of ourselves, because if we are sick...who is going to help take care of them?

Well right now one girl is outside and the other is up in her room watching her tv. I think it is pretty peaceful here as well. I know it will not last forever but I can take this as a time to kick back and enjoy it while it is here. Take care and happy sunday to you:)
