Do you think what you eat the whole day is the right food for you? I was actually on a diet and i was monitoring my food intake. But then i missing a lot. I missed pizza, spagehtti, ice cream, chocolate cakes and lots more. I know you will tell me eat in moderation but then again sometimes when your eating it, you can't control yourself to stop. Are there really a right food for us? Fruits and carbo is not good for those diabetic patient, pork beef and seafoods are not good for those people who have heart problem. So tell me what is right food for us?

Is the purpose in eating to build up and nourish our bodies? Is it to enjoy our food? How do we put these two together? It is an adventure. It is how we look at eating. If we think everything we eat is okay and we have bad health then we will continue on that path. It is like driving a car in a direction that you did not want to go and wondering why you ended up there. Look for healthy alternatives. Study the food you eat. Be aware that pizza, spaghetti, ice cream, chocolate cake and the rest have some healthy alternatives. Understand that for thousands of years mankind lived without these foods in the state that we use them today. When grains were ground, half the ingredients were not taken out to give you only a part of the nutrients. Your body gets this stuff and wonders where is the nutrients! If you were making your food from scratch, would you put all of the ingredients listed on packages in your food? Check out the ingredients that are put into some foods that actually make you crave them more. It is a journey to change a diet to a healthy one and it does not happen overnight. 1.Open you mind to new possibilities. 2.Go to the library and start reading about good healthy living. 3.Eat healthy foods that you like. It takes time to find them and change around. 4.Make an appointment with your doctor and ask him questions about what you are learning. Make sure any changes you make is approved by your doctor. If your doctor can not help you then ask for him to refer you to a nutritionist. 5.Visit a health food store and ask questions. You may even ask someone to give you a general tour of the place so that you can become informed. My nephew stopped by the health food store deli and asked the lady behind the counter to help him with some ideas for his lunches that he would like. He was skipping lunch because he got so sick of sandwiches. Now he has variety and fun with his lunch and looks forward to it. As you learn these new things, you may find your food bill decreasing because you pay a whole lot more for foods that are not healthy both at the check-out and in the long run. This is going to take some effort so get ready for an adventure!

It really depends on the person and his/her condition. Diabetic patients should avoid sugar most of the time, hypertensive persons should not each high cholesterol foods, etc. One of the best things to do is to consult a doctor and have yourself checked. The doctor would probably ask you to undergo some medical examinations to see if you have any underlying conditions that will affect what food you can eat. From there you'll be able to determine the right food for you. ^^
