Chinese movies

I recently watched a really good movie with the English title "Together." I got the movie from Netflix and on the page with the movie's description the Chinese title is given as "He Ni Zai Yi Qi" I really enjoyed this movie! It was so well made, my partner and I both were remarking at the production value and the story and how everything came together so well. It was like watching a good American hollywood movie and by that I mean there was nothing lost in translation. We could understand and follow the story and relate to the characters even though we had to watch with the subtitles on. The film is about a man's hope for his son who is a gifted violinst. They travel to Beijing for a competition and to find the son a teacher who can help lead him to acclaim. The story is funny and engaging and has a great pace; I wish all American films were this well put together! Has anyone else seen this movie?

I think they are good to watch and now we can understand their movements on the movie rather than before because now the are making films in around the world so ew can don't find any difficulty to understand.

I can not say which are the best because I have not seen many. I have enjoyed what I have watched and will continue to look for interesting movies from all over the world. If you have trouble understanding use the subititles feature.

I haven't seen that one, Canellita. But it sounds like one I would enjoy. I have to really be in the mood to watch a movie with subtitles. Sometimes I feel like I have to work too hard to enjoy it, when I usually watch movies to relax. This one sounds like it would have been worth the effort. Thanks for sharing it with us.

How do you like it in Beijing? I would be curious what you thought about the way Beijing is shown in the movie after you have seen it.
