Big Brothers ‘‘Cybersecurity Act of 2009" Bill

United States
April 6, 2009 2:35pm CST
Here comes the censorship "change"! "To ensure the continued free flow of commerce within the United States and with its global trading partners through secure cyber communications, to provide for the continued development and exploitation of the Internet and intranet communications for such purposes, to provide for the development of a cadre of information technology specialists to improve and maintain effective cyber security defenses against disruption, and for other purposes." The Congress finds the following: America’s failure to protect cyberspace is one of the most urgent national security problems facing the country. http://cdt.org/security/CYBERSEC4.pdf Senators John Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) think so. On Wednesday they introduced a bill to establish the Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor—an arm of the executive branch that would have vast power to monitor and control Internet traffic to protect against threats to critical cyber infrastructure. That broad power is rattling some civil libertarians. http://www.dailypaul.com/node/88621 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ct9xzXUQLuY Watch for this to be slipped in the next spending bill. Before we know it, anyone that says anything opposing the Obama administration will probably have their internet connection shut off without notice.

This is just one more way to control people under the guise of national security. The 0bamunist wants to put all of our medical records, and all of our personal and private information on the internet, so if it is such a dangerous place as Rockefeller suggests, then the 0bamunist's plans would seem to be very unwise. The liberals have been trying to get control of the internet for a very long time. There have been attempts to tax the internet for many years for various reasons, including that email was hurting the postal service. This is just another attempt at censorship on the part of the liberals, for they oppose the free flow of information and ideas. They know that unless they control the information that we get that it will be much harder to push their socialist agendas. This falls right in line with whatever form of the Fairness Doctrine that they come up with... and is backed up by Pelosi's comments last year that information should be approved by Congress before it is released. This idea is unConstituional and violates the 1st Amendment. This is the type of thing that a fascist would come up with... so I guess we knowq what these liberals really are. They want nothing said that they don't approve of... and they want to silence any opposition. That is what this whole thing is about, and has very little to do with internet security. Welcome to the USSA.

Yes...welcome to the USSA indeed. The United SOCIALIST States of America. This is Obama's big dream, and he is working really hard right now to steer us in this direction...EXACTLY the way I have been telling people he was going to do if he got elected. However, I was called a racist (among other things) for speaking out against him. Now we must deal with all the screw-ups he has in store for us. I agree that this violated the 1st amendment. The real objective here is for Obama's goons to be able to stop the anti-Obama stuff, such as a lot of my posts for example, from getting posted online, just the way HITLER's people did when Hitler took power. Anyone who spoke out against Hitler was killed or imprisoned. What is next in America...concentration camps where people who speak out against Obama are sent??? I acknowledge the fact that law enforcement officers were not, and ARE not, ready for the boom the Internet caused. They are pretty much helpless when it comes to catching people committing crimes online. People are using the internet and organizations like MONEYGRAM to pull off SCAMS with counterfeit money orders and checks. Child molesters have easy pickings of victims thanks to IM programs and other things intended to make life more convenient. Something MUST be done to stop things like this from happening, but there is also a line that must not be crossed. The first amendment must not be violated. Of course, if Obama has his way, he will likely toss out the Constitution all together and write his own, or at the very least, he is going to try to amend the one we have to fit his Socialist agenda...

I would leave an intelligent comment here, but I think I may be having a massive coronary accompanied by steam shooting out of my ears and blood spurting form my eyes. Please just defribulate me either when this nightmare is over or when the revolution begins. Also, if Jesus shows up, send Dana to my house to smuggle me into heaven.

What I can't smuggle you to Heaven? I'm closer. Lol, I was picturing the steam shooting out of your ears and blood shooting out of your eyes as I was making this. The revolution has begun, it's just a matter of time...
