After seeing Team India defeating New Zealand team & conquering it's final frontier, India have now beaten every opposition in their own backyard. I think India stands a good chance of winning the 2011 world cup. Also team India have build up a well knit team of youngsters & some experience after some of the seniors exit. This is now the strongest team currently playing some excellent cricket. What are your reviews on this?

Definitely India have a fair chance of winning the Cricket World Cup 2011. But none can say anything with certainity. We all know results in cricket matches are hard to predict. India's win in the World cup depends lot on the physical fitness, consistency and the temprament with which they are going to play. Still two years are left and Indians will play a lot of matches in this two years and thus it will be better if we stop predicting India's win in the World Cup. They are teams like South Africa, Australia, England, etc. which will give a strong opposition and will leave not a single stone unturned to win the coming world cup. So, better be wait and watch...

Yes i think that u have an able point in the wait & watch performance theory but don't u think currently & by the day this indian team is improving & getting stronger & is confident of defating any opponent placed in front of them.

Yes that is too unlucky for team India as both australia & the south african team have more amount of cricket to be played in all formats of the game in this year compared to Team India.

Definitely the current performance of Indian Team is good, have the potential to crush any team and with time it is improving its game and game plan too. But this is the case with other team like South Africa too. Moreover, one cannot neglect the potentiality of the Australian side. It has youngsters in its playing eleven and by the end of two year they will have played enough cricket. What do you say?

yeah some of the seniors have exited from the one day team as they had no choice too. but one senior who is still there is sachin tendulkar. hopefully, he will play the next world cup and if he does india will have a very good chance of winning the cup as it will be a great boost for the team to have him and learn from all his world cup experiences. and he will try very hard to get the world cup final win which has eluded him till now. hoefully he sticks aroung and with the talented youngsters and seniors like sehwag and zaheer the team will have the right combination to win the cup.

That maybe a very big plus point for the indian team if sachin tendulkar stays till the world cup in the team as he can groom the younsters well in his footsteps so the team heading ahead would be more experienced having the master of knowledge himself with them to guide them to unreachable heights.

I think, its too early to comment on this. No doubt, Team India is in the best of its forms with all the players contributing equally wellin every department, but the you are talking about a situation 2 years in future. You cannot predict the performance of Team India at a later stage. Moreover, we haven't seen the team playing against the top 2 teams, especially South Africa. You can clearly see that South Africa is also in a very good form rt now. Ofcourse, I would like Team India to win the World Cup 2011, but then we should not expect too much rt now

Hello,Mathews! It is probably the best team the selectors have picked up for India which has the power to win a match in all circumstance. It has a good batting lineup with Shewag,Gambhir,Dhoni,Yuvraj,Sachin and Raina and potential bowlers like Zaheer,Ishant and Bhaji and all rounders like Yusuf Pathan and Irfan Pathan. They are pretty good in all departments of cricket.I sincerely hope that India will win the world cup next time.thanx.

I think so. India may win the next world cup. Because now, india can beat australia anytime. I think two team are the most strongest team now one is india and the another is South Africa. After Dravid, Gambhir is the second wall of indian team. Veru and yuvi also more furious in the ground. Lets see what happen, i mean what God want.

lets say indian team has won many matches for the past 2 years and their odi team looks devastating especially the batting.but one have to take note that we do get complacent .we lost the final match against the lankans and kiwis after dominating the series.to win a world cup u need a good team and lot of luck.we didnt have any during the last time thats y we lost to bangladesh and the last world cup team was no weakling.as for luck ,the 2003 world cup saw the exit of 2 dominant side due to rain interruption.if dhoni can continue to have his lady luck by his side ,we may have a chance this time
