well, i remember i had used my first cellphone for almost 3 years. but since i began working, i had used 3 cellphones in 3 years. that means, i will change my cellphone per year. the reason is i want to update my phones with some new function features. such as wifi,GPS,3G. so what about u ,my fellow mylotters?

I change my cellphone every 2 years as it comes with my subscription contract. When the contract end, I can change to a new cellphone, I will kept to cellphone operating with Window Mobile OS as it helps to sync with my outlook calendars and contacts. But I will need to sign for another two years with the mobile operator. This is the way the mobile operator tight you up for another 2 years.

well, that's different here in China. People seldom use a cellphone with signing a contract with China Mobile. we prefer using our own cellphone. but i think its also good to use a cellphone with a contract if u like to change his phone often.

The phones I want tend to be rather pricey, and my Verizon plan goes for two years, so I basically choose the best phone I can afford and hang onto it for two years until I upgrade.
