Did your childhood best friend became your husband/wife?

I was wondering when you'd start your first discussion! My Wife and I met when we were both around 30, so no childhood friendship angle here I'm afraid. I pretty much knew I loved my Wife the first time I met her! It sounds corny, but I honestly did feel this way and knew we'd end up together. We are very happy as one and have been for over 4 years now. As for the proposal part, unfortunately I wasn't able to be too detailed with the whole event, so all I did really was take off into town (Which was a bigger challenge than usual because I was in a non-English speaking foreign country at the time!) and buy a ring. I then came back with it and proposed. We ended up getting married in yet another country and are now living in a different one again! lol.

not in my case but i did have a friend(boy)to whom i was veryclose,everybody thought of us as a couple but we remained best of friends and did not marry each other.hes still single but i am married.
