after making a topic on the difference of need and want and i am clear about the difference of the two words for you where does love belong? Is love a need for you or those it belong to your want?

I think "love" falls in the want category when it comes to having a partner. There is no guarantee where love is concerned. A person wants (desires) to be loved by another only sometimes it doesn't happen. It is not even guaranteed being loved by family, sad to say.

well for me i think all of us need to be love so it falls to the category on need...its like no man can stand alone so one needs someone in order to survive....just a thought though.

Well considering I have been divorced after a bad marriage I grew cynical on human conduct being motivated by self interest.Yeah, I'm definatly a cynic here.

For me love is a want, because it is a choice I made. I can do without, I don't need it. But I want it. Take care. Life is great!

Fine thank-you. How are you? No, "want" will not become a need. I am very independent. I want to love my BF. I don't need too. If he wants to leave, he is free to go. I will survive. When I got married I was 18 years old. I "needed" my husband, I thought I could not live without him. Guess what? I can. I don't need anyone. Now I choose, because I "want" to love someone, not "need" them. Am I making sense. I am starting to wonder myself. hahahaha! Complicated issue. No more "needing", now it is "wanting". love is of course a need, in its perspective you will love someone because you have grown to live with the person, that your life is empty without this person... something not similar to want.
