I have my own website and for those of you who also have websites I wanted to know if you would share your ideas on how to generate traffic to your website.

Just fallow below steps to get hundreds of visitors
1) After searching on internet and other websites i came to know that www.blogcatalog.com , www.topofblogs.com and www.goledy.com are the websites which send you ton of visitors you have to do is just singup with this sites and keep there button on your webpage.
2) Submit your post to www.digg.com ,www.delicious.com,www.reddit.com,www.stumbleupon.com and to www.technorati.com .This sites are like social networking.This sites receives millions of visitors who search the content are directed to your blog.
3) Singup your blog with search engine submitter such that your blog can be searched on various search engines. Ex: www.submitexpress.com
4) Comment on other websites and blogs and type your name or signature as your website url.Remember don't comment unwanted things, only comment on matter's related to posts only.

Now that's what I was after!! Thanks for your response; you have some really good tips. I was aware of a couple of them but I mainly hadn't heard of those sites and I will utilize them immediately.
