Do animals dreams?

I do not know for sure if animals dream but i think they do dream because i saw my dogs and cats at home, which were asleep, and they show signs that they are dreaming, sometimes they move their face, sometimes their arms or even make sounds when they are sleeping..Do you animals dream? what do you think?

hee hee...Aren;t they cute that way...My cats sometimes makes this grumble sort of sound when she sleeps. It's simply adorable. I guess pets do dream too, just like us, they were probaby dreaming about going to kittly land where there were unlimited amount of fancy feasts...hahahah...^_^

My puppy does dream. Sometimes he moves four of his legs like crazy, sometimes talking in his dream, sometimes barking etc it is very interesting to see him doesa that, I can keep not laughing when I see him dreaming

Definitely yes. When my dog sleeps, I always watch his arms like his running so I think my dog is always dreaming about freedom or running everywhere.

I use to work as a vet tech and I asked the vet that very question and he told me that they do dream but it is automatic dreams of their nature like dogs running, and cats stretching their claws. They do have dreams like we do of things we want or things that have happen to us, etc.
