Symonds started off as an average cricket player but suddenly made a mark in world criclet around 3 years back. But his antics after the infamous sydney test have got his career into the dumps and have done nothing but brought shame to the australian and world cricket. From the go fishing incident to bar brawls to his unsavoury comments on brendon mcullum for playing in the new south wales which itself is an australian domestic team has brought nothing but shame and public ire against him. His cricketing career is in shambles right now and no matter how many comebacks he makes it will be very difficult for him to seal his place in the australian team once again. It would not be a wise idea to play him in the deccan chargers as well but if gilchrist is the captain he will surely get the nod ahead of the others.

Symmo is a great prospect to any team any time ...He is such destryoer in cricket of cricket ball and bowlers moral, confidence whatever u want to call it. We have seen few knocks of his ability for Deccan in IPL2 and he was in full flow. Need to worry this man if he is going to play in T20 cup....oter captains start thinking ....If u take my advice, lets call every other captain and have a common strategy against this man n buldozer.

Symonds is not the player he was before.His contribution in the domestic matches back home in Australia is also disappointing.He got the nod just because of the experience of having played in the international level as no other new players are playing well for Australia. Cricket is termed as a gentleman's game but with people like Symonds playing , cricket will be no longer called so.

His inclusion is certainly a bonus for both teams. Australia really needs someone like him after lookig at their recent performances especially in the limited over formats. He is a very good allround player.hope he can control himself off the field and not get into any more trouble.
