Is it lovely to visit a different country each year?

A couple that live in New York might visit Florida for two weeks every year. They might never visit another country in their lifetime. A lady that lives in Copenhagen might visit the Canary Islands every winter for a week and never go to a different country. A man that lives in Melbourne might only ever visit Queensland for his holidays. If the couple take a trip to Canada or Mexico they might be more interested more countries. If the lady pops over to Italy instead of Spain she might realize there are many more countries that are worth visiting. Maybe the man will try visiting New Zealand. Then he might think of visiting other countries with beautiful scenery. If a person is a student of 20 years old he or she could think of visiting a different country each year for the rest of their life. By the time he or she reaches 40 years old they would have seen much of the world. In the student days there can be a lack of money so a working holiday over the summer might be a good idea. A retired person could still see lots of different countries if they begin now. Is it lovely to visit a different country each year? Would you be able to do that? If so which are some of the countries that you hope to see?

I am looking to visit a different country every 2 years. (one has to be aware of the economic climate) Next year we have narrowed it down to Vietnam or Panama.

I have no experience of Panama but can thoroughly recommend Vietnam. If you go to Saigon you must take a day trip to the Mekong Delta.

When I was working I traveled a lot, mainly in Europe and USA. One year before I retired I had to go to Singapore and that made me interested in Asia. Since I retired I have visited many Asian countries and Australia. I have yet to visit India and the Philippines but hope to include one of them in my plans for this year. West Papua and Malaysia are my favourites but every holiday was great except for my last visit to Bali. That was my fourth trip there and most certainly my last. The Paradise Island is no longer a paradise.

Hello maximax. It would be wonderful to travel to a different country each year, but it is impossible on my side as I am not financially rich for the enjoyment of traveling abroad, but it is ok for me or for my family to travel to a different city in my own country as the traveling expense in my own country is certainly much cheaper than that of traveling abroad. It is a great pity for me not to be able to fulfill the dream of traveling abroad to many countries. It would make me happy if I could make it for visiting one country close to ours...Thank you for the nice discussion, friend.

I know like you say there are lots of people who go to the same places year after year but, that for me would be boring! Yes of course I would like to visit palces more than once that I really enjoyed but, not the following year! I plan on going to Venice this year as that is one of my dream cities and then away with my mum for a week but, as of yet the destination hasn't been set so that I have to look forward too also! x

it would be nice to visit another country every year... but of course what hinders me is the financial constraints... hopefully someday i'll have the luxury to do that! :)

I have never really been able to understand people who visit the same place year after year, because I am completely different, and I love to visit a new place every time. It is one of my goals to visit as many countries as possible. This year I don't have a lot of money to spend on traveling, because I am getting married soon, and my fiance and I have been saving up for the party for a while. When the party is over I will start saving up for my next trip. I hope to visit Latvia, Lithuania, Romania, Bulgaria, Russia, China, South Korea, Japan, the Phillipines, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Yeah, its nice if you have extra money to visit a different country each year. There you can spend your time seeing different places and perhaps learn some of culture of people where you are planning to and as well making new friends that would be nice.
