On my last highway trip I witnessed 2 minor accidents that thankfully did not cause any damage or injusry. The car in front was going quite slow when a group of school children suddenly crossed the road without even seeing the road and merrily talking to each other. Luckily the car swerved and one of the children literally ran onto the cr door and fell. The children ran away in fear as they knew they had been careless On my return trip two buses on adjacent lanes scraped each other as one tried to overtake the other - luckily no damage other that a dent in the buses. Have you ever seen an accident happen?

Unfortunately, it always seems that motorcycle accidents end up being the most grisly. On my way to school last year, there was an even where the police had a whole street closed. While driving past, all one would see is a dented car, a wrecked motorcycle, a body covered by a tarp, and a motorcycle helmet about twenty feet away from where the body was laying. A friend's friend was also a victim of a fatal motorcycle accident earlier this year.

Oh Yes! I definitely did witness a road accident in front of my eyes and the accident victim is actually me myself! I was caught in an accident about 2 years back where a young lady driver who just took her driving license drove from the other side of the road towards me and our car just hit head-on. It was my first ever car accident and my nose was bleeding and my leg was injured and it was a total havoc.

I had seen a gory accident several years ago in which a person lost his life. accidents normally happen because of the negligence of the driver. When we do not adhere to the rules of traffic accidents take place. Therefore it is always better to follow the rules of the road strictly.

Yes, I am one of those lucky enough to witness a handful of road accidents right before my very eyes. It would take forever to tell of all that I have witnessed before, so I'll just describe the worse one I've ever seen. For the worse road accident I have ever seen, I saw this car travelling at quite a fast speed and it crashed onto this motorcycle travelling in the opposite direction, meaning that it was a heads-on crash. It was horrible; the motorcycle rider was tossed about ten feet high and landed on the ground with a big crunch. My dad who also witnessed the incident (from our car) said that the motorcycle rider has a very low chance of survival. Not really sure what happened after that, but I think I had nightmares after that......

That sounds gruesome. Was the motorcyclist going on the wrong side of the road?

Can't really tell because I viewed it from quite a distance, and I also viewed it perpendicular to the direction of the crash. Anyway, regardless of whose fault it was, the most important thing is that the accident was avoidable if both parties had taken precautions.

i never witnessed an accident per say but i was driving behind this lady years ago on my way to work and it was fairly early in the morning. it was a well traveled highway and as we slowed to go around a curve her driver's sice door openened and she fell out onto the roadway and her car kept going until it hit the curb and came to a stop. i jammed on my brakes and stayed there with my flashers on so no one would run her over and the next car behind me pulled around me and said he would call for help. so i stayed there and within minutes another car pulled up and as luck would have it the guy was a trained first aid squad member so he took over and i went on to work. there were no cell phones back then so i could not do much for her. it was a really weird thing to see though. not something you would expect to happen.

I'm not a F1 fan - although I do watch races once in a while. And I very definitely do not drive like an F1 racer!

I was actually involved in a bad accident back in December. I was with my mother (who was driving) at the time. We had gone out of town and had just left that town heading home when the accident happened. We were behind a white van heading west. A small truck was coming the opposite direction. All of a sudden the truck swerved, the van's driver blew his horn but it was too late. Seconds later, the van's driver tried to get out of the way, but the truck slammed into the van nearly completely head on. The van went into a ditch and all the tires were ruined as were its front and rear bumpers. The truck too continued on and hit a ditch farther down and rolled over a time or two according to my mother. Fortunately our involvement was a lot less minor in comparison. A piece of the truck's bumper had come off and lodged itself in our bumper. If it was pretty big and had it come up a few more inches, would have likely crashed threw the window and hit me in the head instead. Otherwise we got off a lot luckier than the other drivers. Everyone was okay though. The driver in the truck just had a few cuts. The sad thing though? The guy in the truck had borrowed it to go get a part to fix his truck. It wasn't even his vehicle.

I saw a drunk run a red light. The car in front of us moved into the intersection and got T-boned right in front of us. If the car in front had been a little faster off the mark someone could have got killed or seriously injured. The drunk did not t-bone the passenger compartment, just in front of the door. This car jumped about three feet in the air straight up. I was in an accident and I remember the slow motion of it all, it still plays in my head when I think of it. Some idiot pulled out of a cross street and stopped right in the middle of the road and I tried to go around him. I clipped his front with my passenger door and remember glass flying all over the place. If I had not tried to go around I would have t-boned him in the drivers side and probably killed him.

Many times already. I've seen an 8 year old kid hit by a motorcycle and the child suffers a broken leg.. That's grossy.. I also saw a minor road accident yesterday on the expressway on my way home. There was a bumper to bumper traffic on that area so those kind of incidents is unavoidable sometimes.. The 2 drivers of each car nagged themselves and they brawled.. Glad that there are some enforcers came to stop and arrest them both..

Minor accidents lead to major brawls and tempers tend to fly.

Hey there! Yeah, I have. And the one that I've witnessed was severe. It was an awful sight. I witnessed it last month. I was going to a bank. I was riding a bus when suddenly a speeding motor cycle slammed into a park truck. The driver and his motor cycle slid under the truck. Can you imagine how does that look like? It was gross man. There was blood all over the place. The motor cycle driver broke some ribs, right arm, and his left leg. He was lucky to survive that accident. Good thing is he was wearing a helmet. His helmet went off of his head because of the strong impact. And he also didn't loose his consciousness. He was rushed to the nearest hospital. I was a gross site. I was numb for a while. I really wish that I didn't witnessed that one.

i did not witness a road accident of others but i am involve in a accident myself. My brother and i was heading back home after buying dinner and my brother is the driver. We were heading to a 'n' shape turn and the signboard stated that the speed has to be at 50 km/h but my brother did'nt notice the signboard and was driving at 80km/h towards the turn. When nearing the turn,my brother notice something was not right, and i notice it too.My brother was controlling the steering wheel turning left and right inorder not to hit the railings.Luckily there will no cars behind and we manage to escape from injuries.Only the car wheel is required to change after this incident.Hope you understanding what i am saying,Happy MyLotting :D

O.O woah, that's wild..Well, the accident that i witnessed may be worse because someone was injured. It was this female bike rider who was severely injured. it's cz this taxi suddenly stopped at the side of the road and without warning too so the rider didn't have the time to brake and compltely crush against the car and went flying upwards and forward...I was terrified..._
