Does studying abroad really help?

I believe that studying abroad helps a lot to a person. They not only develop their studying skills but get to know very much about different culture and their way of living. Getting independant and lots....

I too hope so. If we study abroad, we get to meet people of different countries, of different cultures and languages. There we can learn a lot about different countries, their traditions et. We can also learn different languages. It also aids to get an experience about 'life'!

Hi Kruti.Welcome to mylot.Studying abroad definetely is going to help a person,not just academically but have a a better awareness of the situations because of the exposure obtained meeting people from different countries,cultures,languages,sharing thoughts with them,making friends with them.Its going to be a different picture all together and it builds up confidence to meet life or professional situations.
