Everyone budgets for the week.. month... Before we do buy goods regardless of the prices but now the price is important for us, nowadays we look for cheaper goods yet good quality right? But the thing does your budget plan follows you? I mean what if there are unexpected spending that you have to make? Do you still stick to you budget and leave that unexpected aside or go for it? alternatively set aside an extra money when doing a budget plan?

Hi Mz Ira It's true that it is important to plan our your budget for the whole month or week. It's a good habit to manage personal finances. I try to stick to my budget if there are no important things to buy except for the basic things like food and some bills. But if there are emegencies that might need some money to spend on, I won't stick to my budget. Unfortunately, this happens a lot lol since me and my sister are the ones supporting our family after my father passed away five years ago... And yay! we were able to let out lil brother finish college through our hard work wooot! As for saving up, I haven't that much savings lol... and I think that's going to change since we've accomplished our brother's education this April...

We all know there are more blessings to come for you and your family, in return for all the hardwork and sacrifice... Thanks for sharing and have a good day!

you will get into it sooner or later but for now maybe you dont really have to follow your budget.. as long as you always have money on your pocket then that's excusable...

I don't have a definite monthly or weekly budget. I just spend according to my means and it is usually what is left after all my utility bills are paid.

Hi mz_Ira! Well, that's a great question! And for me it's kind of hard to answer! I do my grocery shopping once a month when I get my allotted food money. I am living on a fixed income so it is extremely difficult and I have to stick to a budget. If there are things that do come up I have a big problem! It means something isn't going to get taken care of that may need to! It is very stressful for me right now! I wouldn't want anyone to have to live the way that I do. I am disabled and things are very difficult. So there is never extra money ever! So I just keep praying that I can do what I need to do, but unfortunately that doesn't always work!

When I was still single I always stick with the budget. But when I got married my husband is the one who budgets everything. We most of the time end up with no budget and so we always borrow. Anyway we make sure that we are able to pay our debts as soon as we have extra money. In my case I never really wanted to borrow as much as possible but I can't do nothing. I am just at home, no job at the moment because there is no baby sitter yet for my baby. My husband is the only one working. Anyway once I get back to work I will make sure that there is always extra money and I will try to save in a bank.

ahihihi fiance as well is the one who does the budget although sometimes I take part into it as well.. It is hard because there are plenty that you have to spend on and fiance's salary is not that enough to shoulder everything so we end up limiting ourselves from buying foods, toiletries, clothes etc alternatively we go for cheaper goods. I do not like as well to borrow money so as much as possible I do not let fiance borrow money.. To save us from next time, I opened a bank account and deposited money which is enough for a month expenses, im also after it's interest so for now im not gonna take money from it, so that it'll grow Thanks for sharing yori88! and congratulations as well for your baby..

As much as possible, i stick to my budget but sometimes you can't help it. Sometimes there are unexpected expenses that come your way or sometimes you forget you have to pay some bills that will be over due before the next cut off. so what i usually did is, i always make an allowance for my budget. Example, my allowance for the week is 100$, i will add 20$, that is for unexpected spending, now if i didn't used that $20, i will save it and later on, i will buy it with a very important thing or add this to my saving for the year.

My mother goes crazy when she just remember of bills 2 days before its due. If she manage to remember everything and she have money left, she adds it for next week's budget and the rest goes to the bank.

Usually my fiance and I stay within our own budgetary limits, sometimes here and there it may go $20 sometimes max $50 over but not all of the time. The thing that bothers me the most is buying lunch to eat while at work and having to find ways to bring decent stuff from home.

Yes, I do.. I always stick with my budget.. If i wanted something and i don't have a specific budget for that then i won't force myself to buy it.. i'd wait till the right times comes.. =) and yes, i don't like spending on not so important things such as clothes, bags, shoes, flip flops, etc.. i would rather buy something essential or something that i really need such as food, groceries, medicines among others..

if you're not fond of buying shoes, clothes and flip flops so does that mean they're not your type of things that commonly girls go crazy for right? so what is it that you might have double thoughts of buying them? im sure you have weaknesses.. Same here I take consideration on my needs first for everyday basis before other things..

No, I make no budget, though I know this is useful. In my case whenever and whatsoever is necessary get them after having the cash from the bank and as I am a salaried person and my family revolves round three souls, there I never felt strongly that I needed to make a budget and g accordingly.

I usually don't stick with my budget,if i am going to shopping on weekends, most of things are not in my budget,at first,i don't want to buy,but i can't help the temptation of the colorful goods, that is lead to i will buy some useless things, through several times of doing this,i think i will plan my budget before buying anything,i won't waste my time and money from now on.

Yes i stick to my budget. I do set aside some extra cash just in case my spending got out of hand. This way i still got a little cash that was saved from overspending. As much as possible, i just allocate a certain amount to spend for some items.

I tend to stick to my budget, which makes me think I should try to cut my budgets down some. I know I could save more, and since I'm not really exceeding my budgets, I'm sure I could find places to trim costs simply by trimming my budgets a little. I'll admit, I do have a large "miscellaneous" category to my budget that I should probably address!

suitable budget is necessary whether the economy is boom or decline. in my opinion the budget should be planned based on you are familiar with your purchase custom and daily expense. an extra money prepared for the accident should aslo be considered.
