Earning is hard in BUKISA

Philippines

I just joined this site the other night. At first, I was excited because I thought it was going to be easy money. I posted one article...and I got 3 views so far! ha!ha! I realized getting that 1000 views is really hard. I have to come up with an article with an interesting topic enough for readers to view my page! How about you? What's your experience with Bukisa so far?

Bukisa is a lot like ehow in a way, it takes patience, give it at least 3 months and you'll see something. I advise you to post more than one article though. Throw in 99 more and wait 3 months. Trust me on this. You're not going to see anything overnight. I have 100 unique views with 32 cents and about 40 articles, i've only been there since February 10th though and haven't been very active until now.

40 articles for a total 32 cents earnings? That's insane. Perhaps you should try submitting some of those articles to actual paying markets and increase your income a bit?

thanks for the encouragement and advice!

probably they're recycled articles..so there's no harm in just posting them in bukisa...it's just like killing two birds in one stone..

Did you know that you can publish the same article in several different sites to help get more money. Just make sure you check the rules because there are a few that want original work only but if you work it right you can write one article and post it in four different sites. Maybe more than that but right now I know of four that you can do that way and a few more that want an original article. You might be able to put the same article in Ciao and Dooyoo and I know that you can put it in Associated Content, they just want 400 words or more.

i can't access ciao anymore... but can i publish my reviews from ciao in bukisa... i know bukisa doesn't mind... but how about ciao? do they have rules of exclusivity?

I'm not sure about Ciao but if they cut you off then they don't matter. If you don't mind writing 400 word articles then you can publish it on Associated content also. There is another one called constant content but I'm not sure of their rules. Anyway these might be a couple you didn't know about that you can write for. If you can't find their links and need them I have them.

Hi, sweetseoul. Before anything else, may I ask if you're the sweetseoul of GT(femalenetwork? I am also with GT and ciao. I'm also thinking of joining Bukisa but I'm having second thoughts now. The problem is getting 1000 views. That's the same problem that I have with Triond.

Are you new to writing? To get people to read your articles, you have to pay attention to SEO, search engine optimization. Meaning that your article must have certain keywords that people type in search engine, and search engine will list your article. In your article, those few keywords must keep on appearing. If you write about losing weight, the term "lose weight" and "diet" better appear a few times in your article. Your article must obviously have title or topic that appeals to people. The second part is the marketing of your article. I do not know about Bukisa, but in the similar writing site, Associated Content, you can leave a comment on articles by other writers. They will read your articles and leave comment. All these help to increase page views. Since your article is already written, you may like to repost in Associated Content to earn page views bonus. The minimum payout is only $1.50. That is also the payment rate for 1,000 page views. At least you can draw income from both sites for one article.

You are not from the United States, so you are not eligible for upfront payment. In this case you do not give them exclusive rights. That means you can post your articles anywhere else. The trick is to post your article, then go to forum and post a greetings, then read the works of other writers and comment on their articles. Most of the writers will read your articles and comment on yours too. Some will even subscribe to your articles and get notify whenever you post new article. Still the most important is the SEO, to attract people from outside AC to read your articles. You should also get your friends to read and help you earn money.

Associated Content doesn't mind if the article is posted somewhere else too???? anyway, thanks a lot for the reminder about search engine optimization... i read about this but somehow forgot about it! :)

I have posted 4 articles in Bukisa now and i have been there maybe a little under a month and I'm really not sure on that. But i have only got 17 views so far on 4 articles. That is ridiculous and we have to get a lot of views on there i have read to get payout of 50 dollars. Its ridiculously hard and I'm not sure how i am going to get to where i need to be on there. I think I'm going to just have to add more articles and see what happens when i get time to do so.

I also think that very funny, especially strange. I joined after the release of the four articles, no one views the results, to be paid I think it is impossible, however.

Really? It is that hard? I am thinking of joining Bukisa for a while, never thought it will be that hard (money don't come rolling easily~~~ they need more views to roll by)

Thank you all for an interesting discussion. Some of these places like: forex, Constantcontent, Shvoong and dooyoo, I have not heard of before. I’ll check them out. I too am trying to find some extra ways to earn a little extra online. But I stay away from needing a lot of referrals, cause most of my friends and family aren’t interested in these websites.

Forget Bukisa that's working harder not smarter. And even 40 articles for 32 cents is crazy! I have about 40 articles on HubPages and have earned over $2000 no joke. You can find the link on my profile.

so what's the requirement in hubpages? they dictate the topic? how many words per post? is this for serious writers only?

hey in sites like those i have heard from friends that your should have a good traffic and distribution of your blog as well. my friend had tried that but he gave it up after 3 months because it takes a lot of work. he didn't have enough expertise on the blog that needed to be exposed.

Hi sweetseoul, i have been on Bukisa for a little over a month now and I have posted a lot of articles there at least one each day or more. The daily revenue picks up after you post more number of articles and you start rating, viewing and posting comments on others articles..Once you reach 1000 views you get $3.42 bonus which is credited at the beginning of the month. I have reached that in a months time. I think once a member posts about 150 articles one can hope to get an assured income each month..It is a slow and steady process but quite rewarding if one has the patience to stick it out...

I am not too sure how it works, however one of the members claims he would be able to help me earn a dollar a day, which would come to $30 a month, with the money I would be able to reinvest to my forex account. cheers.

Actually, it's quite easy to gain 1000 views. I think you should try Helium. You can earn up to $10 per 1000 views. This works really well with articles that are focused on financial topics such as mutual funds, investing, credit card, loans, etc.
