hi all! hope you can help me. it seems i have done everything so that my milk production will increase and will be enough for my baby, but there still isn't much. i have to admit that the volume of milk that i pump has increased, like from half oz during the first week, now i can pump as much as 2.5 oz in one sitting. but the milk that i gather during the day is only about 35-40% of what our baby needs at the moment. she is already 1 month old. plus a few days. we do not really intend to fully breastfeed her because i work and supplementing her with formula will not make her completely reliant on my breastmilk. but i would really like to give her more. after all, i have been pumping my breasts to produce more milk and also to know how much milk i am producing. as much as I can, i alternate giving her breastmilk and formula, like for this feeding, it is breastmilk, next feeding it is formula...that is of course, dependent on the amount of milk i express. i can express a lot of milk if i have slept for some time before i do the pumping. otherwise, it is only about half to 1 oz. my breasts are already very sore and i am sooo tired. i hope that with all the effort, i am rewarded with flowing breastmilk so that i can store so much for baby and she can have 75% of her daily feeding from my own milk. so if you have any tips on increasing breastmilk production, please share them to me. take care all and God bless you! happy mylotting! :D

i almost forgot to tell you be careful with switching back and forth because the baby my become confused , some times when mothers do that the baby will only want one or the other the baby will not take one so be careful.
