If you were told that you could be introduced to your soul mate, the only perfect true love that you could ever find, but this person was going to die in six months, would you choose to meet them?

Of course- finding true love is so rare and such a gift. To experience it, even for a short time, is a blessing. It would be a feeling to carry with you for a lifetime. I'm sure it would hurt, but what a gift! Some people go their entire lives without being in love, really in love. It's a blessing regardless.

I agree with you completly. The only thing I would be worried about is that no one would be good enough after that.

YES. Who wouldn't want to meet their soul mate. Just because you meet them doesn't mean you marry them.

That is very true, but if you met your perfect match wouldn't you want to spend your life with them?

No, I would not meet them. Losing them would be too painful. Losing love is very hard and its something I would not want to go through.
