Mine is not an addiction. It's just my way of relieving sadness or depression. Sometimes, I consider it as a treat for myself.

I used to buy things and then put them in the drawer... because when i got home i realised that i didnt really need that item. Nowadays I have changed a lot. I dont buy things I dont think will be useful: I am more careful with what I buy and what I spend. I prefer to spend money on things that I really want

Yes, I used to buy unnecessary items until I realized that I was mostly paying for everything and I had a lot more responsibility. I had to pay rent, gas, etc and I wasn't getting an income. Therefore, instead of shopping for fun, I had to start being more responsible with my money.

Hi there I don't think I buy unnecessary items lol! Everything I buy seem really necessities to me. Although I think I have too many bags. I guess I am not frugal and I like nice things but I try, really really try, to buy things that are not of my immediate need. I only buy clothes and accessories because I need them. I work six days a week, and even on my day off, I have to look decent for my clients. Have a nice day!

i spend a lot in buying sweets and desserts. i think 50% of my pay go to groceries. i often by sweet treats before going to work at home. and i like to go home with something to eat.. and my parents blood pressure rises every time they see the receipt or tag on paper bags/plastic bags.. now to lessen this addiction, i always left my cards at home(atm, credi cards) and only bring enough enough for the day (lunch and fare). but sometimes i sneak out some extra cash for brownies and mini cakes.. hehehe i cant help it!! hehehe happy mylotting and enjoy shopping!

I used to do this with makeup. But now, I don't have enough money to even splurge a little :\ I have to wait to get enough money to buy necessities. So, that solved that problem. It is depressing, though. But I used to have tons of different shades of eyeshadow, different flavors/textures/colors of lipgloss, so many nail polishes, etc. I always ran out of places to store them, and usually ended up regretting buying at least one item as soon as I got home :P
