people have no feeling when it comes to children or animals. it's a shame the way they are treated, your dog got lucky when he came to your house.i know he is alot of company to u just like my dog is to me.

the reasons people abandon their pets range from behavioral, agressive dogs or spraying cats, to landlords who prohibit pets. In some areas, such a the South and Southwest, traditional attitudes towards animals have also hindered progress

Some people just don't have a heart. They don't consider dogs or other animals to have any feelings. It happens in England as well it is so sad,the worst thing I have heard was that someone moved and left the dog in the house all alone. When the RSPCA caught up with the people they swore blind a friend was taking the dog on and looking after it.how cruel is that.If you cannot keep thier pet for any reason take it to a shelter or tie it up to railings of a kennels or somewhere it can be found quickly and easily.I don't know how these people live with themselves.so sad.At least your dog was lucky being dropped off in your drive way.xxx

People abandon dogs for a number of reasons but, whatever their initial excuse is, the bottom line is that they'er irresponsible and heartless. I've had people tell me in the past that they only drop off animals in nice neighborhoods...as if that would make it okay...but the reality is that most abandoned pets are not taken in my kind folks like you and end up starving and hit by cars. Our little dog, Sugar, was also dropped off in our neighborhood three years ago. She's a very sweet dog and I have no idea why someone would be so cruel to her...but I'd love to have five minutes alone with them.

I think that you must have a sign outside of yor house saying that people can drop off all unwanted dogs right there. Seriously, people get dogs for all the wrong reasons and then when the novelty has worn off they dump the dog just anywhere. I hate to see strays wanderoing around in my country - all neglected etc. We have so few facilities to take care of unwanted pets. when I was living on the farm we had eight dogs and then a huge stray dog came and beat up the eight dogs and took over as head honcho. He adopted us and was an excellent dog - so loving.Blessings

It's a shame that people just drop them off. I don't know what their thinking when they do it..like it can fend for itself or something. Glad you took her in.

we are not allowed to keep pets in our apartment maybe because of lack of space.i dont know why people behave so callously,if they donot want it,i am sure ther are other options available.
