A wonderful gift shop

I had to spend some time in the hospital waiting for a friend and I wandered into the gift shop. It was wonderful with many unusual things at fair prices. Next time you are looking for a special gift you might want to check out your local hospital gift shop.

Ha ha ha! I have never found any gift shop nearby any hospital. All I can find is a bunch of medicine shops only. I am glad that a gift shop is running beside a hospital. So, did you buy any gifts?

There are wonderful and suitable items for patients or visitors at the hospital in the gift shop, they even sell flowers. But the price is too high! I don't know why but I don't think they should be that expensive. I meant, people visit the hospital the most. There's always things that they can buy when they're there. The should sell it a bit cheaper.

You may be right about them being expensive, maybe part of the profit goes to the hospital and they may also feel they have a captive shopper, since many times you don't have time to leave the hospital to get a gift.

Hi pat! I have found some really cute and unusual things in hospital gift shops too. Only where I live they are not really inexpensive! They are a bit on the expensive side if you ask me! But, sometimes I think that they are just too cute to resist so I will buy them anyway! They really do carry some very nice items! I think they do that on purpose so that they can make sure that you can buy something to cheer up the patients!

Sometimes the gift shops are run by hospital volunteers and the profit that they make goes into the hospital for special projects. I think this may be why they are a little more expensive.

Really wonderful.But we have no such gift shop in our hospitals.You are lucky.
