I had taken me many moons before the number of marketpoints I accummulated for GlobalTestMarket reached 1000. I requested payout sometime in beginning of Feb 2009 and received this check 6 weeks later in mid-March. This is the first check I received from them. Yippee!

No they don't do paypal transfer. They will send a cheque in your local currency, which is accepted in your local banks, of course.

Here's what you can do to increase your chances to get surveys. Log into the site and update your profile. Answer the questions in a way that will bring in the surveys. For instance, surveys on travel or cellphones are common. So just answer positively for these sections, even if you may not have much travelling in the past months or own a cellphone/purchase a new one lately. The surveys will come in small amounts at first, but the more you do them, the more opps you will be given. All the best!

Hi Carol, It's been awhile since I was here at mylot. Did you miss me ? This site is absolutely FREE to join. They will contact you via email if you have surveys to complete. Each survey, you will be awarded points. Once it reaches 1000 points, it is equivalent to US50. If you are from US, you will find there are lots of survey opps. If you are interested in joining under me, please PM me your name and email add. Cheers and God Bless!

I've cashed out with GTM several times- usually about every 6-8 months. It does take some time to reach the 1000 point mark to cash out but in some ways I like it that way. Other survey sites let you cash out at $5 or $10 - this is $50 bucks so I guess it all evens out. I would rather cash out at a higher pay and get a big check then a bunch of little ones. Congrats on getting your first pay out!

Hi Benjaminna, I took very long for the first cashout - years in fact. There were just very few surveys for me. I was working then and did not have the time to complete lengthy surveys, so I skipped many. But now, I have a little more time in hand, I tried completing all that come in my mailbox. I was very motivated when I realised I was going to reach the minimum amt for cashout. It's true that having a larger check feels better. Thus far, GTM is one of my trusted survey sites! Thanks for dropping by my discussion!

I take a lot of surveys online and I also write quite a few articles. I have found that the sites that want to pay you in tokens are normally hard to get the points built up to anything. I will admit there are a couple of exceptions. For instance Lightspeed adds up quick and I have been paid several times already this year. If you want to check out some sites you might like then look at my webpage. You can find the link in my profile.

Hi thoroughrob, That's wonderful to hear! I took a super long time for the first one, but I think I'm confident that I'd take less time the second time. I have thus far accumulated another 200 points after cashing out first time. But it sure does feel good to have the check in hand, yah?

Congrats. I find that GlobalTestMarket and Survey Lion are the best paying survey websites. I have a ton of surveys in my inbox right now but avoid answering them because a) they take so long and b) all it will get me is an entry or two into a sweepstakes that I will never win. I must figure out which ones are the best and cancel out of some. I don't have time to do them all. I have the opportunity to possibly have my manuscript looked at - date May 1st. I need to spend all my time editing, not answering surveys that gain me nothing.

Hi Pat! I miss you! I have not been here awhile, too depressed. But now it does seem that I'm making a comeback slowly. I know that some of the surveys take a long time to complete. It's only for people who have a spare time. For GTM, you will still get 5 points if you don't qualify and not be put in some sweepstakes like other surveys. I see that you are busy with your book. That's awesome! I'm supposed to be writing too, but have not been very inspired lately. I must get going with the writing, my co-writers are waiting for me... I owe them a lot for postponing a meeting already. I'm obliged to write since I have given my word. All the best with your writing and thanks for dropping by my discussion.

Hi Angelbelle, It's available worldwide. I'm sure it's available in the Philippines too. Each survey completed will earn you points, once you reach 1000 points it will be converted to cash (in the form of cheque in your currency, depending on the prevailing exchange rate) If you want to join under me, please add me as a friend and send me a PM, your name and email add. Cheers and God bless!

Hi joie, Depending on your country of origin, the number of surveys vary. The most number of surveys are for the US residents. But you can try to increase your chances of getting more surveys if you update your profile to fit in your latest lifestyle. In addition, the more surveys you do, the more opps you will be given. So all the best! The number of points I have right now is about the number you have, let's see who gets 1000 points first!

Congrats! I am also member of globaltestmarket. My market points are in hundreds only, it'll take time to reach minimum payout of 1000 marketpoints. I am waiting for when i'll reach to minimum payout. I am happy with this site. I received surveys frequently, but site is really good. Happy Mylotting!

My current market points standing is 220 points. I think it will take some time before I reach 1000 points again. It's great that you receive surveys frequently. I do get one or two that I qualify from time to time. For those I don't qualify, I still get 5 points, so not really a problem for me. Thank you for dropping by my discussion, Trusha! and welcome to myLot!

Happy to hear this and seeing the proof.Though I have heard from many that the site is legit and paying the members, it is the very first time that I see the proof. I am having just 520 market points there and it may take still at least four months to reach the payout level.Congrats on your payment..

GTM is a survey site. This site will award you points for each survey completed. Even when you don't qualify, you will still get 5 points for attempting, unlike other survey sites which does not get you anything if you don't qualify. Depending on your country, the number of surveys sent out to you varies. If you would like to join under me, pplease PM me your name and email add. I ahve added you as a friend. I will guide you to get more surveys there. Cheers adn God bless!

What can you advise for me in order to earn in global test market? I had one account before. I did not used it for so long. Because I can't understand the site. Please do enlighten me.

Hi jcblle, There was a period of time when I wasn't active at all, but my account was still open. After doing some surveys on and off, I realised that my points have indeed accumulated nicely. It gave me the encouragement to do more from them. Here's how it works. Once you signed up, they will notify you of surveys via email. You just need to complete them when you have one assigned to you. You have to hurry or the quota may be reached quite quickly. Another tip for you is to update your profile. It may have been some time since you do so and there may be changes in your lifestyle that may increase your chances of getting more survey opps. Each survey completed can get you points from 20 to more than 100. Once you reach 1000 points you can cash out US$50 (in the form of a cheque made out in your currency). They will mail it to you directly after 4-6 weeks from your request. All the best! If you have any more questions, just ask ok.
