how does paypal work?

iv just started trying to make money onlin and iv set up a paypal account, what i need to know is how do i get money in it?
all the ptc sites ask for my paypal email address so i just gave my main email address (the same one i used to sign up to paypal with). did i do the right thing?
if so how do i get money in to the acutual acount please help thanks.
be detailed im not that bright!

hi j, i told you i would respond to your dicussion & i am but i can't help u with this. i don't have a paypal account. i have never drawn any money from mylot for this reason. i have tried to figure it out but when they mentione u had to have a credit card that let me out because i don't use credit cards, hope somone can help you, sorry i can't.

The email address you used to sign up on paypal is the one they identify you by, so when someone is to send you money, give them that address. It works smoothly.
