I have sometimes waited for a bus and found it the wrong one and I could have walked home. I have these nightmares where I have to go someplace, but there are several buses and they are not the ones I want so I take one and it takes a convoluted route that eventually leads to where I am going but it takes much longer. So it is what happened to me when I was working and either my bus was on the street one block over, or on the other side of the street. And I really hated that.

Before we moved to Winnipeg, and before to SAskatoon, I used to live in Burnaby, and Vancouver, B.C. I had to watch the signs on the buses even though they went on the same street, because if I did not, the bus would go down the wrong route for me. I lived sort of in the middle, and I would have had to get the bus back to where I started again. Yes I was sure glad when I got married and did not have to rely on the bus anymore. I hated all that waiting, and taking an hour to get someplace when now it takes 15 mins in the van. oh and thanks for the best response.

Your situation is somewhat similar to what I had experienced. Being lazy has its down side. lol! In my case, I was too lazy to change lines in a public restroom. lol! I stood there for around 15 minutes waiting for someone to come out of the toilet cubicle. The other lines already had gone thin. But I just kept on waiting. Then someone came forward to me and said, "That toilet cubicle is out of order. You can use the other toilets." _
