Canada: Dream of Most Filipino

Canada is one of the dream land of most Filipinos. Relatives who are already Canadian citizens do their best to help. I myself is one of them. I took a caregiver program here in the Philippines and will apply for a foreign live-in caregiver. Application to the Canadian Embassy is increasing and it is not easy to pass the process. And most of the time the application was denied for some reason. May be they are limiting the entry to their country. There was a speculation that Canada will not issue and immigrant for a Filipino next year. It would be on renewal basis and means. Hope that their government will not pass that kind of law.

Being one of the countries that were affected by US economic meltdown I guess they too would limit the number of immigrants coming in to their country. I hope they could open up soon as many are really aspiring immigrants that want to go there. Canada is one of the countries that is open to immigration as compared to US now.

The speculations of Flipinos are not yet written on their law but hopefully it will not be done.

I think it is not wise to make it to law because that would be racial discrimination if they would specifically state that Filipinos will not be allowed for immigration in their country.

I don't think that would be an aspect of descrimination. May be it is just for security and keeping their country safe from other bad sources or influences.

Your right jralivio a lot of filipino wants to migrate in Canada and I myself too, my sister was in Alberta and she's working there in Banff International Hotel and there are lots of filipino and other asians who are employed in that hotel. My sister and her friends are now planning to apply for a permanent visa there.

It would be easier for them to be a Canadian Citizen, I think. You are going to reach your goal, right. Just keep working on it.

[b][/b]Canada is also experiencing reccession like the US and other big countries, and because the winter there is longer this year very few jobs are available. Just keep your hopes high and goodluck..

I heard about that news. Global crisis is really striking our lives. I will keep my faith than to wait here in my country which is govern by corrupt officials.

Yeah many Filipino dreaming not only to go and be a citizen of that country but also there are lots of Filipino wants to reside on the country they work on. Maybe its for them to have the most of their needs and experience the fortune of being able to live on other country that can sustain their everyday living.

And to keep away from the country that full of corruption and crimes. I don't hate my country but I don't think we had the chance to increase the level of our lives to a better one if we are still obstructed by those kind of people.
