Do you like to go to the doctor?

No, I don't like going to the doctor, either. There was a time when I didn't mind it but that was when I was a child. I always tried to put up a brave front. I'll go as a last resort. I don't mind pain so much. What gets me is that they charge so much. the doctors here in the u.s. do, anyway. I have Medicaid now, which means that my copay is only $1.00. Still, it gets pretty tiring.

Haha, well usually i don't go to the doctor too...It's because the clinic is almost always crowded with people and i know i'd have to understand there's always waiting time for everything but the thing is, my sickness is usually just the flu or some kind of bad cough so the waiting time would sometimes appear to me as unreasonable. And so i'd usually buy the medicine off the local pharmacy and rest often to get mysself better. Just hate the waiting time, not the doctor itself...lol ^_^

I do not go to the doctor unless I am very very sick. The only problem with that is I have asthma and have to go in at least four times a year. It seems every time I go in I have to have blood taken. That would not be bad except I have small rolling veins so they have to bring in a specialist to get the blood. After the blood is finally taken I bruise all up like you would not believe. My doctor decided to make sure that I came in for my visit he would only give me enough medication to get me from one doctor visit to the other. It is terrible when the doctor gets smart to your tricks. One year I got away with only going in twice. When I get a cold I wish I could sleep it off or take over the counter medication to get better. That doesn't work for me though. When I get sick I usually end up on antibiotics and steriods. I wish I was like my husband he very very seldom gets sick. My husband had a twenty four hour stomach virus once. He felt bad and then the next day he was up and around like nothing happened. I however, was not that lucky. If I had a choice I would not go to the doctor, since I don't I put it off as long as I can.

Same as you. The only reason I avoid going for a doctor is that they charge very high amount as their fees. In my town the fees in RS 150 per visit. So, if I need to visit thrice in an year then it would cost me Rs 450. The other lab test or blood test will also cost me the same amount so, ultimately it becomes very high amount.

Yeah pratik87,i think no one want to go to the doctor when he keeps health. I do like to go to doctor when i have a small matter like catch cold ,i always go to pharmacy to buy something speical medicine i know well. sometimes it is no need to go to hospitial for a small sickness.
