Yard sales

I love going to yard sales! Flea Markets too. I usually just go to see what I can find. Sometimes I but things and sometimes I don't. I usually just get things that I will use though. I don'y go for the resale thing..although it's not a bad idea. I saw a woman the other day on Antique roadshow that had bought a set of vases from a yardsale for $100 and they were worth $6000! the culture is quite different here in india as compared to the west.i dont think we have yard sales here but i have heard about it from friends who have migrated to the west.and i sure do like the concept.

that u to be one of my favorite things to. i very seldom go anymore. don't need another ting to sit around in this house!i have too much to dust now.

well i absolutely love yard sales. but then thats my biggest problem. to much stuff and i've had to give up so much and have yard sales myself. sons gf had me sell off a bunch of nice kitchen ware, furniture, etc. and now im having to replace them, but son has no time to take me to sales yet. we did go to costco on the weekend but i'd prefer yard sales.

Well this year we will be participating in a yard sale that my aunts subdivision will be having... we have tons of baby stuff that I am ready to get rid of and a few other things as well. I have done garage/yard sales for the last 7 yrs, since I got pregnant....most of the stuff I have gotten were of kids clothes... kids toys... I even got a few tables as well... when you are on a budget, you can get some great things at yard sales and either refurbish for cheap ...or somethings are in great condition to begin with... I love yard sales!!

I like to look at yard sales if I see one. I will stop and look around to see if there is anything I can use or friends and family can use. Sometimes people sell things very cheap just because they want to get rid of it and then you have the people who have such high prices that you wonder if they ever sell anything.
