Computer viruses are created by programmer for to sell there anti virus software, if there would no virus why people buy those anti virus.

Virus are created by two type of persons 1. Crazy programmers- They are like crazy bad scientist always wanting to do something destructive purposes to the human race. Some do this for reputation in the black computer society( I call it black because they are hidden from general people like us). Some do this because they have an inner instinct to harm people mostly like the vampires. They just want to see people go bust and they feel fun in doing so. 2. Momentary gainers- Now they are normal people like us i.e. they re not crazy but they have a motto to earn money. Many of the virus makers first release virus and then demand money from antivirus companies for a cure of it. It is also estimated by many that these antivirus companies themselves release many virus and then they release a cure for it too so that their business still continues. So you can see that it is a business which has been planned so correctly that we can't so anything about that

Hello shyambncl!!! Welcome to the mylot forum... Computer virus was first created in AT and Bell Laboratory. I forgot the date. Well at first, the virus were created just for fun. The virus that time were some jokes with the user like displaying vulgur pictures and so on. Have you heard about the anacornicova virus that only display the picture of annacornicova, the beautiful tennis player. Slowly and slowly the computer virus took the different form, that gives more problem to the users. Also some programmers buy the virus with the virus programmer in order to prevent the piracy of his software. Yes in some way, the virus can protect piracy. But the creation of computer virus is declared illegal already. But who can really catch all those virus programmers.... I hope you got some of your answer from this... for many reasons the viruses are created. 1- programmers create viruses so that they can develop antivirus programs which they sell to earn money. 2- Viruses are created to disturb the big companies especially the IT companies, with intention to cause financial loss to them. 3- these are created so that hacker could get into your computer to steal some useful information 4- some create and spread viruses for fun 5- some do it for no real reason (you can say time-pass )

right now, i could say the computer viruses that we're having right now is just a little bit non-destructive, since it only affects the software and data parts of a computer. The problem would be if those crazy computer scientist could create a virus that would totally destroy a computer rendering it useless causing us to a buy new computer set. That would be one hell of a virus...

If there's no computer virus, we don't need antivirus software. Maybe the virus maker are one of the underground subdivision from an antivirus company. However, computer viruses nowadays getting more powerful and dangerous. They can stole our internet bandwidth, our files, our financial data, etc. So it's easy to say there's many advantages they can get from virus making. Finally, it worth for money on their side.

oops!!!!this is an excellent question... virus- vital information resource under seige... some black experts write programs on any programming language on virus definition..so, virus is nothing but a program written on any language like(C, C++, C#, etc) virus like trojan, win 32 salinity mostly attack our .exe files... same way anti- virus is also a progaram written to detect and delete the viruses..i dont know abt how do they earn by creating viruses...but by creating viruses they crash down our computers by breaking our operating system..we gotta be very careful with a very heavy protection and fire wall when we are online..this could save our computer from current virus attack online... happy mylotting..

In the early days of computer, some programmers got a little bit crazy, they create this things for vengeance to get even on their bosses or colleagues, or they seem to have some sort of enjoyment with the power it gives them over other people's computers or networks.
