sd and dd both are synchnorous random access memory. sd works at single signal edge and dd work at both signal edge, i mean rising and falling edges of a signal. so dd is double the speed then sd ram and work at higher bandwidth

Hi May2k8 DDR1 is a bank which can provide a max speed of 400 MHz for Random Access with a throughput of 6.4 GB per second while DDR2 can provide speeds upto 867 MHz for Random Access with a throughput of 10 GB per second... But its the age of DDR3 now which can provide a speed of 1066 MHz.... And is that Zack or Cloud in your profile photo....? ~Cheerio~
