Because old stereotypical gender rules are still out there to some degree, although not nearly as much before. There's still somewhat of that mentality that a guy can't be sensitive, or walk away from a fight; and be a "real" man- or he can't be a "real" man if he doesn't "prove" his dominance. Some people still condition their male children like this, if a little boy cries; he gets told " big boys don't cry".

If man not act hard then they are just equivalen to woman. Overall for living life we have to make some hard decision otherwise we face problem in surviving in this world.

I think that it's all about trying to stand out in the pack. If I am "harder" than the rest then they'll look up to me and give me the respect and ego boost that I need. Personally I find that type of mentality pathetic and not something that I want to be part of. I'm also rather too old to be strutting my stuff that way. A nice cup of cocoa and a slice of cake will do me! LOL.

TESTOSTERONE!!!!! If women want to understand men, pump youself up full of this stuff. You will have some stories to tell after you do! Sometimes it takes getting to be a very very old man before we come to our senses. It's funny though. No one really wants to get rid of the stuff either.
