No, I've never been. We only live 4 hours from it here in Bakersfield, CA. I'll probably go just to see it once. I'm not a big looser of my money.

A small portion of the pool at the Flamengo Hotel - A small portion of the pool at the Flamengo Hotel in Las Vegas, there is plenty more to this pool that I could not get all in one shot.
There is so much to do there, you don't have to gamble if you don't want to. And you can still stay completely occupied. I spent an afternoon just going to different hotels and looking at their amazing swimming pools. I only got about 5 of them though, and there are very many I didn't even get to see. Then you could also spend days just looking at all the different hotels both inside and out. I spent an entire day at the Venetian, just walking around and taking pictures.

It is quite a long trip for you. If you do ever visit the United States I highly recommend Las Vegas if you are in to bright lights and big cities.

I went to visit my sister in California about four years ago and one of the places she took me to was Las Vegas. I had a great time and enjoyed everything she showed me. But for me once was enough. Although I did enjoy it much I wouldn't go back. Also maybe one of the reasons I enjoyed it so much was because I was with my sister.

No but I would like to visit someday. I have not really traveled that much in my life but that is something I would like to start doing this year. I have a plan to take my kids to Florida in the next month, I am crossing my fingers and hope to be able to do this. I want to see the ocean and show them their is more to life than Ohio. Take care and happy mylotting to you as well.

I hope you get to do it. Make a priority. You will love it there. You could also go to Myrtle Beach, it is a little bit closer to you, and has awesome beaches.

I have been once - but I was 17 at the time (and anyone under 21 can't gamble or even go in casinos) so I pretty much just had to sit around at the hotel and swim and stuff like that (while my parents went out drinking/gambling). I still had fun, though - but I didn't really get to experience Vegas as a result. I liked being in such a big, lit-up city, though - it was exciting.

I myself have never been to Las Vegas but my mother in law has been there a few times and she says she loves it there. I always thought it would be nice to go there for a visit just to see all the lights. I am not a city person and can't stand to be in an area that is busy and packed but being able to go to a place like that would be well worth it. I would also be neat to visit a few of those casinos, I am not sure about gambling because I am sure I would lose all my money but it would still be nice.

Since you don't like crowds I would recommend going in December especially the week before Christmas, that is the best time to be there since there are less people, and the hotels usually have really good prices at that time. You could spend all day just walking around inside the different hotels, and it is free. Other than the gambling I spend very little money when I go to Vegas. And last time I won $600 so it was like the trip was free.

I have never had any desire to go to Las Vegas. My mental image of it is not the kind of trip I would find to be fun and relaxing. True, some of the desert scenery around there is magnificent, but I am not a bright lights late nights kind of person.

Hi ladym, I haven’t been to Las Vegas before. My son had been there few years back during his one year service training in Oregon. He told me that it was a wonderful tourist site that worthy to pay a visit. If I were to have chance definitely I will like to visit this amazing site with its renowned casinos, as well as the beautiful beaches there . I would like to visit this attractive place together with my hubby. He loves to have fun by trying his fortune to bet a little on the roulette layout. Happy posting and have a nice day.

Hi ladym33 I am from India and my daughters are in U.S.During my visit to my daughters house, she took us to so many places such as LA,Seattle,Chicago,Phoenix,Portland,Las Vegas etc. Though I liked everyplace, the Las Vegas attracted me the most.I am not a gambler and so I did not waste my time in gambling there. We stayed there for four days and we visited most of the hotels and the shows there. Bellagio water fountain , the lion show at MGM grand and the fremont street experience are still in my memories. When I get a chance I will certainly visit Las Vegas again. In short I would say that is heaven. Happy mylotting

I spend at least a week or two in Vegas every year for vacation. I love it. My daughter and I will be going again in July. I enjoy the gaming and the shows and they have wonderful restaurants. Also love the shopping. Vegas has one of the best forms of public transportation in the country too so you don't even need to drive to see the whole city. Buses, taxis, trolleys, and monorail. All reliable and excellent. I lived in the southwest for many years so the desert heat does not bother me as it is a dry heat. Can't wait to go again.

I have been to Las Vegas twice. I haven't really seen much of it though. It is usually a drive-thru kind of thing. I would like to explore the hotels more closely. I don't really like gambling though.

I have gone to Las Vegas at least once a year since the early 1990s. One year I went three times. It is a fun place.
