Chennai super kings and Rajasthan royals lost their opening games. They both lost quite convincingly, although Banglore won with bigger margin and control. It looks this time arond in the IPL 2 150+ score will be very much challenging.

The results just show how unperdictable T20 games are. Teams that perform on that day win. Anyway its good to see some competition between bat and ball. Batsman are used to batting friendly tracks these days and I think it get boring when the batsman totally dominate. Hopefully the curators prepare competitive pitches, bowlers perform well and batsmen work hard.

Well said but I would like to have more and more boundaries in IPL, I mean for bat and ball contest, we have test matches. Let the batsman rule the bowlers in T20 cricket!

Yea, it is just like the first T20 world cup which happened in SA itself. Then also we hardly have seen scores above 180 but many big hitters are due to give their impact and it is still early days. On their day, Viru, Shahid, Gayle, Gibbs etc can make a big impression on bowlers. just wait and watch! Although I find this IPL a little boring!

If this will be the way IPL would go like match between DC and KKR, then I don't think i will be watching them anymore. I mean IPL meant for big hits, sixes and fours. Gayle was good when he hit a 6 and a 4 but he soon departed to make me dissapointed. Viru was supers, it is sad that he didn't get to play full of his 20 overs.

Yeah , iwas sad as my Home Team , the Chennai Super kings lost the game to the Mumbai Indians. But they tried a lot. The rajasthan Royals registered the lowest score in IPL, 58 of just 15.1 overs. Well they were totally Outplayed by the Men in RED.
