Whats the best free software for making your own beats?

I'm working on a little project for youtube, and I want to create my own beats and I'm looking for software or a website which allows me to create my own music without sampling other artist I want to create something completely original dose someone know of a good program or website I could try?

I used to look for something like that, but the only one I found was Audacity. Try it out, maybe you'll like it.
