Not that long, everybody was happy to have him elected as the new President of United States. He has started som of projects and everything.. Went as well for a trip with the first lady... A new dog as well as part of their family has arrived.. The question is, Are you still alright with the decision of him being the new president? Is he doing a good job? What to you think of him now?

I didn't vote for Obama but as the Democratic candidate I chose him over Hillary Clinton. I was willing to give him a chance and see what he could do but since his election there have been many things come out about him that make me think he should not be in the White House. What about the questions about him being a legal citizen. Why spend close to $1 million to keep your birth certificate under wraps if it would prove you was a citizen. Why is his paternal grandmother being kept under guard after she said she attended his birth in Kenya. Why hasn't his Aunt been thrown out of our country and off our welfare roles when she has been an illegal immigrant in the USA since 2004. If he is against terrorism as he says then why did he make a big fuss over an Irishman coming to the White House when this Irishman had for years been a part of the terrorist group known as the IRA - but then he made Gordon Brown use the back door to get in the white House ( and I might add I ca't stand Gordon Brown) The list goes on and on - Obamas first 100 days have been a mess and we the taxpayers are paying for that mess big time.

this is in response to the last comment, the idea to take "God" off the dollar bill was around long before Obama, the reason is that there is supposed to be a seperation of church and state, that means that there cannot be anything religious in the government, so that includes money. So that rumour about "God" being replaced with "Allah" is completely unbased and wrong. It might be taken off because there isn't supposed to be ANY religious statement on U.S Money

What really get me is that he wants to rewrite the constitution. It has not been changed in all these years so, why change it now? He also wants to take "God" out of everything, even off of the US Dollars and replace it with "Allah"? Is he really going to do this? Kat

All past presidents of the US who occupies the hot seat was always a first timer when they entered the white house. President Obama is no difference. He is not only a first timer but created a history by being the first ever black president of a predominantly white population. He is a 'giant killer'! Because he is different and unique from all other past presidents of the US, the critics have much to say about his administration even at its infancy stage. Every little things that he does regardless of official or personal does not escape public scrutiny. What is that makes one a leader well loved by all citizens of a nation? The first priority is self-change and personal example. There is nothing that the leader says that he has not already done. He does not just say that he does, he actually does it. He does not think of himself as being better than others but sees the best and highest in others at all times and draws the best out of them. To Mr Obama, unity is important. There is no room for compromise when it comes to the unity and strength of the people and each one plays a very important role. His leadership is not for himself but others to grow. Being a brilliant leader as he is, he invites the opinions and ideas of others and these are all taken into consideration. It is too early to say the effectiveness of his presidency and it took Bush many years to come to a dismal failure, should I say the world is shaken under Bush administration. I can go further but wouldn't want to sound like an unintelligent political analyst.

So many people are harping on him already, the man has only been in office a couple of months and the mess that our last president made is a big mess to clean up after, I am completely alright with him being the new president and I do think he so far is doing a good job, I think people need to relax some and get over the fact that he got a new dog and likes to spend time with his wife

He is ruining this country! You cannot borrow and spend your way out of debt and the country can't either. My children and grandchildren will be paying for his and the previous administrations excesses. He is also not a natural citizen or he would have produced his proof. The Supreme Court won't hear the lawsuits and one lawyer was even threatened with sanctions. Mr. Obama is socializing the country and we are headed toward facism very quickly. I did not vote for him but was willing to give him a chance. He's shown me that he hasn't a clue what he is doing and he is just full of words but no wise actions.

what do you want from him? He is merely a human being I am sure that he must be doing something to overcome from the crisis by which the whole world is suffering from. One thing I am very impressed with him that he is against Terror and terrorists. I will appreciate if he can wipe out terror from Pakistan and Afghanishtan.

Well it would be nice if he would stay here for a few days and try to take care of some of the important issues we are facing. Rather than worrying about shaking hands with evil dictators and bowing to Saudi Kings and appeasing, apologizing.... I don't think he likes America very much...

What is he supposed to do? disrespect someone and get us in a even bigger mess than we are already? I think that it can be a much better approach not to rock the boat than being an idiot cowboy, like our last president.

I don't think he really likes America very much, either. If he was really in our corner why would he label Americans as arrogant when speaking to international leaders at the G20 summit? And why would he be working so hard to impress those who have avowed themselves to be enemies of the USA and all it stands for(e.g., Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.) He is sending a lot of conflicting signals and I can understand how people can draw the conclusion that he isn't dedicated to acting in our best interests.

Don't you think that after all the years in iraq, all the money that has been spent on that war,,,that maybe what we need right now is to try and let the dust settle and focus on ourselves and stop worrying about "evil dictators", fighting isn't the answer to everything. The last thing we need is another war or anymore international conflict started.

IN my own opinion, so far, i see him as being the happiest president around.. lol =D He really knows how to relax himself and of course that trademark smile of his has never left his face even though he's a president now.. I dun really see any stress upon him, and i believe he knows what he is doing ^_^ IN a way, that's good.. BEcause if a leader of the world is not optimistic, how is he able to convince the others?? lol =D For now, there are no new problems arising and that it is a good thing ^_^

Bush and his congress were rightfully criticized for out of control spending. Obama and his congress have spent more in the first 100 days than Bush spent in 8 years. So no I am not happy with them right now. I was really hoping for some fiscal responsibility....but it looks like I am not going to get it.

I do not know who you mention this! I think he is so well because he did not mind on how good of a country's governance. I do not know, my view is correct.

What is done is done. He was elected as our president right now, and he is okay so far I guess. He didn't create this mess for us to deal with. We made this mess ourselves. He just a elected leader who trying to find a best methods to clean it up and make it better. Not that I am trying to defend him, I just trying to tell the truth from another angel.

obama needs to fullfil his promises which he made, he said he will call back all troops home and instead he sends more to war in the name of terrorist its a common story among candidates, when ur about to be a president u will throw all u can get to be one, but when ur one finally they just forget everything that they said in their fancy speeches before and does the same stuff which the rest of the presidents did, thats wat is shamefull for most of them, even tho he looks promising

It doesn't matter if his name was Obama or Ralph. Whether he was Black or as white as the first snowfall. It's the fact that the Democrats are in the White house and what democrats stand for that the religious right will never accept and as always they will play their dirty games of smearing anyone who is not in their party no matter how they have to play that game. It doesn't matter that Mr Obama walked into a mess of the previous 8 years of making rich men richer. The religious right doesn't want him where he is and are watching every move to smear any good thing he does. But I will tell the religious right that you aren't in control anymore and finally you people did go to the voting booths after decades of rolling over and accepting whoever it was they said won. In 2012 make sure you go back voting booths again.

I'll tell you that since 2006 Democrats have majority control of congress. And you can bet we will be voting again in 2012 only this time it might not be for a Republican. It just might be for a third party which is long overdue. They are all pretty much crooks and don't want us to govern OUR country.
