What do you do when you are late for work?

This morning I woke up at 10:06 am. I am supposed to be at work for 9am! I don't know why my alarm didn't go off, but I got up, threw some clothes on, and RAN into work hoping that my boss wouldn't notice I wasn't there yet. He's not in yet, and I don't have any missed calls from him. I think I am safe.
What does everyone else do when they are late?

Its not a good practice. But sometimes s*** happens. and If that happens specially when your about to go to work, Expect to be late. Its ok if you happen to be late for about once or twice every quarter. But every week or so. Its not good. So what I'm doing, to rectify the situation, I do over time. LoL.. Thats it. Its additional money for me even though I'm bit late. We use secure cards so once you get in, you know and they know that your late, no excuses.
